Let's Celebrate!
The DFW Singapore Club is excited to invite you to celebrate the Mid Autumn Festival on September 30. This celebration is all about gathering fellow Singaporeans and friends together to savor delicious Asian cuisines and moon cakes, and to gaze at the beautiful bright moon. In addition, we would walk a short trail with colorful lanterns, lighting the path to good things to come. Once again, we invite the children to make lanterns out of recycled materials and display it. Please use battery operated battery. Prizes will be awarded for creativity and originality. Come for the food! This festival will be homier with a potluck full of Asian spices and flavor. All attendees please bring a dish, appetizer or dessert sufficient for 15 people. The Club will provide moon cakes, cold and hot beverages, all utensils and a few dishes such as steamed fish, nasi lemak, etc. Please meet at the pavilions near the main parking lot. Optional things that you can bring: foldable lawn chairs, mosquitoes and bugs spray. Please RSVP by 9/24. Payment This event is free for Club members to attend, as for nonmembers, kindly pay $10 per nuclear family and $5 for individual. If you want to join as a member, the annual Club membership fee is $35 per nuclear family and $25 for individual.
